At one point on yesterday, in excess of twenty-eight thousand power users in the state were without power.

Moist weather were predicted to continue along large portions of eastern Queensland this next several days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.
Tomorrow was expected to become the most rainy day, with ongoing thunderstorm potential anticipated across various areas of both states.

Medical authorities alerted that there was an higher risk of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the countryside regions, particularly given the current weather patterns.
